We hope you are still enjoying the summer weather.  Here on Vancouver Island, we are blessed with very little smoke. We feel for all those who have been evacuated or had to spend days indoors because of the air quality.  We are also ignoring the slight chill in the air because summer is definitely not over!

WHO KNEW - What an incredible experience! The Leo Awards are BC's version of the Golden Globes, and Kelly Conlin, our WHO KNEW Director was nominated for Direction in the Short Documentary Category!

Dear All, we have so much news this month that our Newsletter is a joint May/June edition.  Besides that, its difficult being indoors when nature is so colourful and fresh!  Enjoy!

Spring is officially here and we are all coming out of hibernation !  Having spent a week in Edmonton in March, I will never complain about rain and wind any more.  The Alberta Aboriginal Head Start Association was very keen for their Early Childhood Educators to take part in our second NeuroInclusivity for Early Years pilot.

February is the shortest month, and it has certainly flown by for us. Following our incredibly mild West Coast winter, it is suddenly spring !

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month and the WDS is certainly playing its part.

This month as our summer arrives, our news takes an international flavour… but first some exciting home news! WHO KNEW Dyslexia is a Way of Thinking, the 30 minute short is now entered for these Film Festivals: Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, Whistler, Whitehorse, St John’s, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Sedona and Edinburgh Scotland! She is looking out for a good fit in England.
